Folks,
Is there an easy way to do failover routing ( or basically setting a
routing metric ) on a Sun box w/out running a route daemon of some sort
(these are firewalls so I really would rather not have a route daemon
learning routes on the fly doncha know )? Basically, if the primary router
for a route fails can I have the route switched over to the secondary
router? Is my only option to script this and have a ping running from time
to time and then switch the route if the ping fails?
