Have a site running Solaris 2.6 + Disk Suite (with latest patches) + Gauntlet
5.0.

We mirror the root disk and log disk.

Gauntlet works and is none the wiser !!!

Anthony Lorimer

Yes I too am interested in Solaris supporting Disk mirroring. Does it do
this on a hardware level for disk mirroring? Also, did anyone encounter any
roadblocks/problems with this configuration?

Tks,
Craig

I can see no reason why not, having dealt with Gauntlet and DiskSuite (but
not
on the same box). If you are evaluating a firewall that claims dependencies
on particular filesystems or disk layouts, run for the hills, it's not worth
your trouble. There are plenty of firewalls that will run with no disks at
all, or any kind of disk layout you care to setup.
