I chose to run connect the DSL bridge directly
to an ethernet hub, to which I connect the external
interfaces of my firewalls.

This gives me the option of connecting an external SecuRemote
client to this hub when necessary. This is necessary at times so
I may establish a Client Encrypt connection to a client's site. So far, no
one
has allowed me to set up a VPN. :-)

The only thing that is vulnerable at this time is the DSL bridge and
the SR client, when it is connected, but everything else is behind the
firewalls.

If you don't have a need like I, I would simply connect the DSL bridge
directly to your firewall.
