i agree with Carric
i had also written a text about icq & wingate... http://www.hotnet.org/~killer
icq uses udp to connect to the server, send and receive messages through it...
if you configure socks4 + udp on port 4000, your file transfer will work
perfectly too, but if you use just a socks5 connection without the udp on
port 4000, the file transfer will work just in one way (i dont remember if
you can just send ou just receive)
using mirc through firewall... be best you can do is just send files... i
did everything and there was no way to receive files...
