It's a double-bounce. Bounces that bounce are fairly common occurances
with UCE.

You can't "stop" double-bounces in any useful way that doesn't notify
people who write messages that are mis-addressed. I don't use Exchange
as an external MTA, so I can't comment on its facilities, most *nix
systems handle them well. I use Postfix as my front-line MTA and it
gives me the option of silently dropping double-bounces or collecting and
analyzing them in postmaster's mailbox.
