Not a bad little firewall for entry-level, with nice 'firewalls
for dummies' user interface. Only available for WinNT if I remember
correctly, that might present stability and scaleability issues.

Licensed/priced by 'head count' just like the 'bigger' firewalls.

Ask your vendor to explain why every Elron firewall on the planet
ground to a halt about four months ago because _all_ the license
keys were generated incorrectly and all expired on the same day.
Ask them what are they doing to make sure that doesn't happen
again. Ask about the company's quality control practises.

Ask questions about scaleability, functionality, flexibility,
time in the market-place, installed base, and how long the company
is going to last in the market-place.

A reasonable product IMHO, secure enough for many applications,
good for entry level. For my money, a 25 user Axent Raptor or
Checkpoint Fireball-1 would give you more bang for your buck and
an upgrade path but at the same time incrased overheads in
education and installation if you're new to the game.

HTH,

Geoff
