Jeff,
I am not really sure what you are looking for. The port itself is not the
security issue, it's the service connected to it that could potentially have
problems. Are you looking for something that tells you what each port is?
That's easy on UNIX --- look at the /etc/services file. It will tell you what
the 'generally accepted' service is for each of the ports 1 - 1024. Depending
on your flavor, it might provide some insight into ports above 1024, as well.
But keep in mind it really is your system that dictates how vulnerable it
is, not the port itself. It is entirely possible to bind other services to
reserved ports.
