We hit a problem with SunScreen firewalls. They are in HA configuration:

1. Firewall is completely open with
common * * allow
2. Telnet FROM 10.96.2.52 TO 10.96.46.5 works
3 ping FROM 10.96.2.52 TO 10.96.46.5 works
4. ping FROM 10.96.46.5 TO 10.96.2.52 works
5. telnet FROM 10.96.46.5 TO 10.96.2.52 does NOT work.
6. ftp FROM 10.96.2.52 TO 10.96.46.5 establishes the control connection
but NOT the data connection back.
Is there any explanation for this? Can somebody shed some light on this?
