The timing is uncanny! I have been considering proposing a new (or
revamped firewall-wizards) list, moderated, with a very strict charter
of "NO HELP DESK" questions because with or without it, I am getting off
[EMAIL PROTECTED]! It just wastes too much of my day culling through
the crap to get to the good stuff.
I would not consider moderating a list however without a few
co-moderators, preferrably spreading the world so that traffic is
continuous and does not mount up on any one moderator.

Indeed. Like I said, many co-moderators. The right ML software is also
essential. Moderation has to be easy and doable from an MUA. None of
this web moderating crap. If web moderating is available, all the
better, but the lowest common denominator is email. I have used Listar
for this in the past. It is nice in it's moderation features. They
have a web interface now I think too. Whatever the ML software, easy
moderation (without the need to fiddle with headers) via e-mail is
required.

Without making a comittment (until I see how it shakes out) you can
consider me interested in co-moderating.
