Take a look at Eddieware: http://www.eddieware.org/

Eddie employs multiple DNS servers, distributed geographically and
constantly monitoring each other. This way, you can set up a resilient
DNS service.

Similarly, Eddie "front-end" servers load balance Web requests over
multiple webservers.
