And I'm not even a wizard.
23 is where telnetd is expected to answer. 25 is where the SMTP daemon
is expected to answer. However, you can telnet to ANY PORT. For
instance, I used to fake all my mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] by doing:
telnet ucbvax.berkeley.edu 25
Just because I thought that satan should live in a vax at berkeley.
