I think I know what your problem is. When using FTP with Gauntlet you have to ftp to the proxy server, then to the site that you want to connect to. For example, FTP to [EMAIL PROTECTED] then connect to the ftp server on the outside of the firewall.

Subject: What does Gauntlet 5.0 on Unix use for FTP Proxy?

I am trying to get Live update admin working on a client site and I seem to be having problems with the FTP Proxy.

Do I need PASV, user@site etc
I can't find the info in the doco what there is of it.

I have never touched a Gauntlet

Thanx in advance
David
