Hi Spider,
if you're upgrading pix from 4.0 you need at least a pentium II, Minimum
32Mb ram, and a 16Mb flash card.

- From 4.0 it's possible that you loose the configuration but you have to
change many many thing in the configuration file.

Consider that 5.2(3) beta it's also buggy with the latest ftp ip discovery
vulnerability, so wait for 5.2(4) that should fix also this .

i think you should migrate your configuration file from conduit/outbound
to access-list .
add other fixup(like ftp strict, sip) check carefully how default
parameters change (timeout,aaa-server) and add new feature (ip audit, new
sysopt and floodguard, ip verify reverse-path) and think if you would like
to use ssh.
