Some may remember a theoretical point that came up about using 3rd party
serial line extenders to get >15ft between failover PIX boxes.
Has anyone done any testing in a lab or even have a production system
running like this? Failover via fibre serial extenders would be even
better...
Yes, I know that this config will not be supported by Cisco. ;)
