I've only recently heard of using SSH for X, so I might still be wrong here,
but I believe there are some developments taking place which might make it
safe(r) to use. Then, again, I'm not an authority. However, I'll be watching
the responses, too.
FWIW, MAJOR fibre cut on ELI's circuits tonight between ?Portland and
Seattle? Half the servers in the PNW were down, and I'm just now catching
up.
