Aravax unlike Sidewinder or Firewall-1 claims to have a firewall
specifically designed to secure VOIP specifically the H.323 protocol. This
would be probably be used in conjuction with another firewall for normal
Internet traffic. The Sidewinder does not have an application layer H.323
proxy yet although it is possible to allow H.323 through the Sidewinder. I
doubt that Firewall-1 will ever have an application layer H.323 proxy as
they are a Stateful Inspection firewall and not an ALG. I didnt' do more
than read the whitepapers at the Aravox site but they did seem to be worth
investigation further.
