Mark,
#Do they even make Sidewinder anymore???
Absolutely, Sidewinder V5.1 was just released with a lot of much needed
improvements. A couple of years ago Secure Computing came out with
SecureZone which was suppose to end up replacing Sidewinder. Sidewinder
ended up being a better product overall so they have incorporated some of
the work from SecureZone into Sidewinder and have refocused all of their
developement effort back into Sidewinder. Sidewinder is still used
extensively in the Air Force, a numner of governement agencies, banks,
insurance companies, and hospitals. It obviously doesn't have the install
base of Firewall-1 or Pix but it has about as many users as any of the
other major commercial firewalls.
