#What is the recommendation for network routing on the
#firewall when the servers protected by the firewall
#will be accessed by both LAN and external Intranet
#users?
Generally, static routes are used on a firewall for routing. I have used
routing protocols on the non-Internet side of the firewall for various
technical reasons but I definitely recommend static routes where possible.
#Is Win95 running dynamic route?
Windows 95 is usually just given a default route and the router the default
route points to handles the complicated stuff. You can build static routes
in Windows 95 using the route add command. I'm sure someone has probably
been bored enough to port RIP, OSPF, BGP or just about any other dynamic
routing protocol to Windows 95.
