I have had problems in the past with Checkpoint and FTP, but they were not
related to FTP itself.

It was found that somehow (usually after an upgrade or rules modification)
that TCP Timeout was getting reset to 1.  This is a *bad* thing as long
ftp transfers get "stuck" at the end of the transfer.  Causes all sorts of
other weird little problems when that happens.

Don't remember the correct settings for TCP Timeout, but 1 is not it.
