well . . it's like i launched a pretty big topic hiero :)

thanks for the massive responses.. well we were all talking about
hard- or software.. are there somewhere some guidelines what I
shouldn't buy ? I thibk for the first instance we will use software
firewall, after that (when we have more data transfer) we will change
to hardware.

If i'm talking about the software firewall, is it the best solution to
let it run in Linux ? (since NT is buggy ?)  And what
(brand/productname) would be the best ? calculating that we do not
have a physical internal network after the server.. but just the co-location
facility. So .. its for filtering the "evil" packets
