Dear All,
I have an inquiry with regards to MS Exchange/Outlook. The scenario is as
such. Exchange server services were not able to start and no mail activity
was possible. The databases were repaired and integrity checked. However,
some users are reporting that they have problems accessing some mails ...
this was sorted out by recreating mailboxes for them. However, there is one
particular workstation that is showing really unusual results. Whenever the
user logs in to NT, and starts Outlook, immediately following is a warning
prompt which says "Cannot Log in to Mail Server", with only one option tab
available [OK]. After this [OK] is selected, Outlook continues to function
without a problem, the user can receive mail and send and everything else,
but that message appears every now and again, and especially during the
first 5 seconds when Outlook is first started.
If anyone has any thoughts about this one, please assist. Thank you very
much in advance.
Sincerely,
David
