I am in the middle of working with NetScreen 5, 10 & 100s for a project that
encompasses over 200 facilities. You want this setup on a basic network:
Internet -->Firewall--->Router
Let the NetScreen straddle your network in transparent mode. Get a demo
model from some security company to play with it for a week or two. The
setup is by GUI or CLI. If you can set up a router and know basic security
concepts the setup is really easy.

So far I like NetScreen(s) a lot & they have many cool features. Have a
NetScreen Sales rep give you a demo.

Daniel

P.S. NAT mode work good with even the most gangly of applications (i.e.
MAPI/Outlook).

I am recently seeing a lot of attacks from Russia and Japan on my
Gauntlet for NT v5.5. I am not at comfortable that I am getting the
right degree of protection. I am think about doing the following

Internet -->Router--->Firewall
A----->HoneyPot----->Gauntlet----->IDS--->Internal Network

Will this work and does it make sense

I am looking for suggestions for Firewall A. I cannot afford
CheckPoint,

Thank You
