hmmm' I understand that these guys try to subvert content filtering engines,
but the problem is that of content filtering engines, not of the URL!
a serious program should check the address/name, test whether it is an address,
and if not, do a DNS lookup. When testing the address, the BSD inet_aton should
be used. If filtering is done on hostnames, then a DNS lookup gives you the
hostname.
Any software that fails to handle these obvious considerations has been written
by people who should first learn before coding...

??? that's a commercial offer, my friend. With all the respect I have for
people
I don't know, these guys have yet to convince me that they are really needed.
Spam is a well-known problem, and the open source and open community
solutions are far more advanced than any commercial offer, and with all
that, the
problem is still unsolved, so I doubt these guys can help...

if it's just filtering by server address/name, it's just obvious, and any
non brain damaged
product can do it. if it's to be done interactively, then a script is a
trivial matter to write!

I doubt anyone anywhere can solve the spam problem.... unfortunate, but
that's reality.
