1. Get SunScreen SecureNet 3.1 (newer than 3.0) and install patch 109734-03
from sunsolve.sun.com unless you have specific reasons not to.
2. I dont think the SKIP implementation in fw1 and SunScreen "match" - i've
heard it doesnt work - please comment on that someone if im wrong. SunScreen
as for v. 3.1 only support SKIP. 3.2 is supposed to be served with
IPsec/IKE, and is due to june.
3. The main feature in SunScreen that makes it the best fw in the world (my
opinion) is the stealth feature(read about it at sun.com)
- the second best thing in the world is ssadm edit <policy> - the CLI
admin solution. You dont need GUI to do anything with your firewall.
4. SunScreen is multithreaded so that it can use all your cpu's. FW1 isnt.
