I used SunScreen in the past, and it's a good thing to have a transparent
firewall, but what I don't liked, it's that it used to crash suddenly... with no
apparent reason...

Same with FireWall-1, you can control your firewall using CLI, and even
edit the rulebase if you like to do it...
That's also true for free-unix-based firewalls (IPCHAINS, ...)

FW-1 can also take advantage of multiple CPU's... since it's a modular
application, it can use as many resources as the operating systems gives
