Ah, you down-under folks really screw the rest of us up when you talk about
seasons. Don't you know everything important happens in northern
hemisphere? :-0
More importantly, I forgot to point out when posting that the original
message had a subject "OT:My cat's name is fluffy" and recieved around a
dozen responses, some of which tailed off-topic from the original post.

Yea, I keep forgetting which list I'm posting to (not that I make many posts
to either). Obviously I thought I was posting to fw-wiz, forgetting which
list I was reading at the time. I must say, I'm far more likely to read
most of fw-wiz than this list when I return from a trip and have 400+
messages to sort through. Moderation does slow things down, but also keeps
signal/noise ratios. Tough trade-off, but it is nice to have a list
moderated and one unmoderated to chose from.

A FAQ would be great. I've even written some tiny parts of one. I keep
trying to find time to get stuff going on http://www.securitynewbie.com/ and
put some sort of FAQ up there, but it never seems to happen. Anyone want to
put in some work? I'd be glad to find and pay for a host for my domain if I
could just find the time to actually make the site or someone willing to
take on some of the workload to get it going.
BTW, anyone else get e-mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] in response to
posts on the firewalls list? I've gotten a couple of messages with (poorly
created/hidden) trojans. Just curious.
