On the management station you can manually edit objects.C and the 
appropriate *.W (Standard.W ?) file with any text editor. After that 
issue the FW LOAD command with appropriate parameters (see docs). The 
files are comparatively easy to read - at least for the standard stuff.

Worked for me when I had to access a distributed but broken Sun-based 
FW-1 mesh of firewalls.  9600 baud for console access is not that much 
fun, but it worked...
