Good Evening,

I am not sure if this had been responded to or not. I know it is a little late, but
I have been really behind on mail the last couple of weeks. I kind of agree with you
and disagree with you. I agree that it would be nice to have the freedom to
use the net (without Porn) when I am on my break, lunch, etc. I have worked in
a company that it was OK to use the net as long as we did not abuse it. Now
the company that I am working for is just the reverse, I am not allowed to use the
net at all during my workday. I can use it for work releated issue, but not personal.
I am not even allowed to use it during my breaks.

Now on the other side, I agree with them. It is their equipment, they pay the electric
bill on it. They also pay for the T1 to get you to the net. So they have the right
to make the decision on who, what and when it can be used. It would be like me
coming to your home and sitting at the computer all night long. Then dnloading a
ton of MP3 information. Now you can not use it because I am doing so. Also it is
running
your electric bill up 10X because of the usage.

I know that you live in the good old down under. (always wanted to visit) Simply it
is
the jobs company, and they can do as they feel is needed.
