Alex: In response to your question (see below), have you also looked at the linksys 2.4GHz Wireless Access Point with Built-In 4-Port 10/100 Router (Model BEFW11S4)? It is on sale from May 23 -27 at Best Buys for $149.99 after $15 Mail-in rebate and a $15 Instant rebate? I've worked with the Linksys 4-Port 10/100 router (Model BEFSR41) and found it very flexible and easy to configure. My home environment incorporates a Linksys Wireless Access Point (Model WAP11) and I found this also pretty flexible and easy to set up. I've used some of the security options and can advise that you must make sure that the laptop or desktop wireless network interface adaptor is configured to the same size encryption algorithm or things will not work properly.
