*Citadel Fall 2021 Events Announcement*

This Fall, Correlation One and Citadel are partnering to bring you the biggest
coding competitions of the school year.

Competitions are open for all the current undergraduate, graduate, and PhD
students! We also highly encourage freshmen and sophomores to sign up as this
is a great learning opportunity for those who have just started to get into
coding/data science.

Apply for both events to meet like-minded individuals, to be considered for
jobs/internships with Citadel/Citadel Securities, and for a chance to win $15k
in cash prizes!

Applications are reviewed on a first-come-first-serve basis, so we encourage
you to apply as early as possible. Last day to sign up for Datathon is Tuesday,
October 12th 11:59pm PT!

October 18-25: West Coast Regional Datathon (data science focused)

Datathons<https://www.citadel.com/careers/the-data-open/apply/?apply_to=west-coast-regional-datathon>
are world's #1 virtual data science competitions. This is a great opportunity
for students to work on challenging problems while engaging with real-world
data in a competitive, team-based setting. Last day to sign up is Tuesday,
October 12th 11:59pm PT!

We provide a problem statement and students have a week to work on their
analysis reports in a team of 4 people.

November 8-15: West Coast Regional Terminal (coding focused)

Terminal Live<https://terminal.c1games.com/west> is an online game where
software engineers and computer scientists (or anyone else interested in
coding) build an algorithm to play a tower defense game in a team-based setting.

This competition is suitable for both beginner-level and more advanced coders
as we provide starter algorithms for those who need a little more support!
