Dear FIS colleagues,

apart from sending my best greetings to our Chinese colleagues for their
special New Year ("Lunar New Year of the Water Dragon"), let me suggest
some recapping or new focus on the ongoing session about info science
teaching.
Following the idea of info as distinction on the adjacent, and of the
different scientific enterprises as artificial (or "artful") ordering of
distinctions according to some specific disciplinary criteria, I was
going to suggest an application of this very scheme to info science
teaching.
First point to elucidate: what entities or systems are capable to make
"distinctions"... (to be continued!)

Friendly yours, even from the abyss of bureaucracy,

---Pedro

PS. the spam filters of the unizar list server are quite active again.
Sorry about that. Please try to be most careful on sending short
messages, direct fis address, exclusive use of your susbscription
address as a sender, etc. I will keep entering the rejected messages.
