i have just fishished writing a script that manages to export the
complete wiki history (with changed-date and commit-message) into a git
repo.

this will make it easier to reimport the content to a new wiki.

also, even though there have already been two offers for new hosting,
i'd like to mention that i am working on a collaboration server projects
which offers web publishing, wiki, ftp and other features, and most
importantly self-administration (that means access to a group is not
controlled by a site administrator but by members of the group)

i am working on importing the wiki content (it's a good use-case for a
git-importer that's already on my todo list) and i would gladly have you
use the server for the fish site.

the site is at http://community.gotpike.org/fishshell/
to get write access, register at
http://community.gotpike.org/register/register_en.html
(watch out with the password, it is http,
you can change it after login via https)

once logged in, go to
https://community.gotpike.org/groups/fishshell
to request membership in the fishshell group

static content is already there, wiki content should be up in a few
days...

sounds like a good idea.
also, did anyone try [email protected]?

greetings, martin.
