Hi,

That script was not removed because of any licensing restrictions, it was just 
not working well across different environments. We are going to 
rewrite the script. This issue is being tracked from  https://github.com/fish-
shell/fish-shell/issues/257 unfortunately there is no progress on it.

Is that because of the license of those (two) scripts? Though they still have 
some problem importing some of the functions from .bashrc, I found them quite 
useful. Anyone working on something similar?
