Dear list, I recently switched my default user login shell on my arch linux system over to fish 2.1.1 and I really like it. However, when rebooting the computer, all of my universal variables are gone. Things like the fish_user_paths are reset to empty. I checked the .config/fish/fishd.ID file and saw that this file is restored to a default state when I reboot my computer. This default state consists of the welcome message and colors. This is the same as what I set via the configuration interface (non-default). Variables are also carried over when logging out and logging back in.
I have no idea how to troubleshoot this problem, so is there anyone who can point me in the right direction?
