I Must Accept That These Are Valentine's Day Poems

1.

Like they could use a trace of sand,
My wrists, and as it follows,
They would be made of marble,
Don't make any sound twisting.
I've never fallen on them.

2.

There is a valley near us
And it certainly does exist,
And in a certain season clouds put a lid upon it,
And it is easy to climb above this lid
Along wooded trails.

These trails begin
Right at the road.

3.

Maybe you are a sheet of ice.
To glide upon you I need skates
That melt you in little places.
I want to sink through you
With the heat of my body.

4.

You are nearly
An invented quantity.
You are nearly the many
of "one, two, many".

5.

We needn't think that
Anything has actually changed,
Though all of us
Are so impatient for that.
