I may check into it and reserve a kitten for somewhere down the line. Right now my cats are street cats who adopted me 6 or 7 years ago. They are now happy and spoiled. Halfway indoor-outdoor cats. They are great at keeping the rodent population at bay in the barn, but have the protection of the enclosed back porch at night. No owls or coyotes will get these sweeties. And we've got enough acreage that they tend not to roam off our property or get into fights with other cats. But after we do the various remodelling jobs our vintace 1930's cottage needs, I'd like to get an indoor cat or two. My mom had a Maine Coon "type" cat once. He was far and away her favorite cat ever. So affectionate and sweet. Pamela
