<< I have recently purchased two Fjords that drive. I am looking for a cart and or buggy if anyone has any advice. I am also wondering how I will be able to get both the horses and cart to an event. I have a two horse slant load trailer and am planning on buying a new trailer as well, but I don't know what to get. For those of you that drive carts/buggys, could you give me some tips on what kind of arrangement you have for the rigs and horses? Do you put the buggy in the trailer or do you take two trucks and pull another trailer with the buggy? Stock trailer or slant load? Please email me privately at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks Marlene Coffman Hobby Horse Haven Thorndale, TX (near Austin) >> Welcome Marlene, we don't hear from many Fjord owners in Texas. I am right next door in New Mexico. Lets answer the transportation of buggies cart, etc., here rather than privately I would be interested in knowing how others work out this transportation problem. I have a Meadowbrook cart and I transport it in the bed of my truck with the shafts over the cab. I also own a Bennington marathon vehicle for pairs driving, that fits beautifully in the truck bed. Recently I purchase a 1912 Rocky Mountain Spring Hack, looks like a small wagon and can be used for a single horse or a team/pair not sure how to transport it as it doesn't fit in the truck and I don't have a trailer to put it on yet. So it sits in the carriage house and will get used when I can figure out the transportation problem. Sue Clark-Sorger Crown Oak Fjords Sandia Park NM
