That said, I have to give up, there will be still cases in which I cannot get exactly the same FLAC file.
As long as the fingerprint and the sample rate are the same as theoriginal FLAC file, and it tests OK against the fingerprint, you know it's the same audio inside it, so IMO that's enough.
