Yes, we've been using r8brain to convert our 24-bit files to 16-bit files
for our site (great little software).  Will try to pick up a later version
of Nero.  Thanks for all the input!

1) A simple tool is Voxengo r8brain (freeware):
http://www.voxengo.com/product/r8brain/.
2) Supposedly later versions (with the FLAC plugin) of Nero downsample
automatically when you burn an audio CD-R (I've never tried this
though).
