I'm mostly doing mobile, but had a question regarding flash video.
sorry for the noobie-ness, but :
people mail in mobile phone video (which is mostly 3gpp/MPEG i believe)
server converts to flash video for PC viewing
questions:
are there any linux tools that can use a PHP or command-line interface to batch
convert incoming files to flash video?
what is needed to serve flash video? is apache OK? are there options
for http streaming (progressive download) vs full flash video, or do
we need to license some product from macromedia for serving flash? I
imagine just web server/file downloads would be fine for short
mobile-phone type clips...
