I some how fixed this a few months back. I THINK that the issue is this. You are actually recieving your own post but since there is already a copy of it in the Sent folder, it gets skipped. In addition, the way you have your filters might be causing it to skip your own post. If you are setting a label based on the address the e-mail has as its TO field then it is skipping. Try setting your filter to set labels based on the Subject such as "[Flashcoders]".
Again, this is my poor memory on the subject. I might be WAY off. But I do remember having to fiddle with my filters. Charles P.
