Without putting too much thought into it - sounds like you could build a component that executes a java command and then stops, and the java shell that received the command would make a call back into the flash component for the result. Same theory applies to C#.NET.
So doing a google on verifying certificates using Java will go a long way as well. (don't answer all, I just hope so ;) I have to verify from flash if a specified certificate is "activated" (I don't know the exact term cause I don't know certificates and it will be made by someone else, but I mean that before the website is launched, a condition has been verified and the certificate is correct, activated, created...etc). so I'd like to know if it's possible to acces the certificates from Flash and what is the way for this. Any ideas, links about certificates functioning in general are welcome too. thanks a lot!
