tried that still no joy, going back to stripping out html tags then putting
in textformat tags, then user edits applying formats, then stripping out the
textformats and replacing with html to go back into the database.
pain in the a*&^.

make sure you have all styles of the font you are using embedded, we were
using bold in a style but forgot to embed bold specifically and nothing
rendered.

I'm having a weird problem with a text editor i made ages ago, i'm
updating it to use styles instead of textformat.
however, whenever i have my input text field set to use the style sheet
nothing displays.
in the output window, the text and the htmlText are filled with what they
shoudl be, but i see nothing.
the fontFamily property is Arial, and i have Arial embedded on the
textfield. still nothing showing.
anyone seen this before???
