Hi,

A client has decided that they want all FLV's used in
some online learning to be delivered on CD's (oh
good!) - where the main content is on the internet and
obviously the FLV's will now be local. It's run
through an LMS so it's no problem finding the CD drive
- but I'm a little worried about the new security
settings and how that will effect all this.

I know, for instance, loadMovie from a web based swf
will just fail trying to load in a local swf, but when
I tried loading in an FLV it worked... I was sort of
expecting it to fail - and having looked through all
the security related info at Macromedia (adobe) I can,
I still don't see mention of this case with FLV's.

So does anyone know if I can expect FLV's to always
load in ok this way? I'm not sure if some security
settings I have used is allowing the FLV's to load in,
or if this is expected behaviour in all cases. Is
there any info relating to remote > local loading of
FLV's that I've missed?
As I said, I figured this would fail, but doesn't seem
to. Maybe because FLV's can't be scripted as such so
don't need the security settings applying in the same
way?

Thanks in advance,

C.
