Greetings all. I have a question for you. I am using LoadVars to read a text file containing one variable. The variable contains all the state abbreviations delimited by a comma.
On my stage I have the us map with each state in a movieclip with the instance name matching what is in the text file. I want to insert into an array the abbreviations so I have in my array the names of all the instances. I am doing this now, but of course, it's not movieclip references but just straight text. How can I change what is in my array from text into these instance references? Any thoughts or ideas?
