Hi Tom I tried a few experiments and found that the I was getting a message saying I didn't have the right permissions, having looked at the file permission for the flash it seemed fine, so at a dead end again.
I then decided to look at the server logs and I discovered that the server wasn't set up for absolute names. Which is really odd, as this was configured ages ago. Anyways I added this and now everything works. Just one mystery remains, how was the Apache config changed???
