I looked when Google Talk first came out and discovered that it was
impossible without a proxy (Java applet on the client, or an intermediary
server) because of the TLS authentication that Google Talk required (and
that Flash doesn't support):
http://www.google.com/talk/developer.html#developer

I'd point you to the discussion in the archives, but archive search doesn't
appear to be working correctly.
