It's a good idea, but unfortunately I'm loading in text and the Flash movie needs to be scaleable so I don't want to lose the vector data. I think I may have found a workround which means I don't need to load in as many copies as I was doing, so hopefully I should be okay, but I'm still interested in hearing any alternative solutions.
