Alain, I understand, I already said essentially the same thing when I
said:

He suggested I trace the font on the textfield, which is not the same
thing, and I was responding to that comment. It's tracing "Wingdings" on
the textfield's TextFormat.font, it's just not rendering Wingdings on
the screen.
