You could use some screen capture software (there are lots, but for example: http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp) to capture the swf area as you play it back. A lot cheaper than Director ;)

So... I have a flash movie. I want to render it out to a video file, but of course I want to have all the timelines playing correctly and all the transparencies/filters properly rendered, etc. so save as... really won't cut it. As I understand, the only way to do this is to export via director. Is this still the case? And if so, does whatever version of director that is still in existence support flash 8? Anyone got any leads on this? Thanks in advance, Alias _______________________________________________ [email protected] To change your subscription options or search the archive: http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders Brought to you by Fig Leaf Software Premier Authorized Adobe Consulting and Training http://www.figleaf.com http://training.figleaf.com _______________________________________________ [email protected] To change your subscription options or search the archive: http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders Brought to you by Fig Leaf Software Premier Authorized Adobe Consulting and Training http://www.figleaf.com http://training.figleaf.com
